I am Richard. I have been taking photographs for a decade... I studied photography at the British Academy of Photography and through many short- term online and classroom courses. At the beginning I loved photography as a hobby, but never thought an art career was in my grasp.

As a man, myself often seen an invisible wall around me, a social prejudice or expectation about culture, lifestyle, religion, ideology, or a strict example to follow.

Behind each of my photographs, each of my models there is a REAL story, a documentary, a REAL man, a single man, a lover, a boyfriend, a husband, a father, a cheated husband, a divorced man, a broken man. A man who wants to show himself. A man who wants more and to be seen.

 inspired by life - and of course by many great photographers like Annie Leibovitz, Bob Mizer, Herbert List, Robert Mapplethorpe. Andy Warhol, James Van Der Zee only a few to mention! My editing tools are mostly Lightroom with simplicity.
